Round carving also name solid carving, could see the carving from many angle, it is carved from front, back, left, right, up middle, all angles, this kind of carving have strict requirement for stone. Its size must suitable for actual article, and the carver make the mold according to the ratio, make the mold is the first step for round carving. Sometimes need to use mud to do the mold, after mud mold is ok, then start to do the job on the real stone.

     relievo, it is a kind of carving protrude from the flat surface, it is a kind of art between brushwork and round carving.

     relievo, could be divided into two kind – high relieve and low relieve, it is depend on the different compress space level.

     High relieve because its thickness, it is more similar to round carving,  even some portion adopt the processing way as round carving, high relievo adopt 3 dimension , make the relievo have a strong sight impact.
