To decorate the exterior wall of building with stone, become very popular because of its feeling of modern and art. Now the stone hooking occupy very great portion. And its increasing. With the development of stone hooking decoration, because of bad choice of material, bad installation, it cause the beauty problem and safety problem, this should be highly paid attention.

      Just for stone hooking structure glue (AB glue) which use for stone hooking, its choice and application affect the safety and beauty during stone installation.

      1,Bad choice of material

                                      According to the regulation made by country, construction project must adopt “lifelong responsibility”, it require the stone hooking must adopt stone hooking structure glue, the material used for stone hooking, the choice must be strictly in accordance with the requirement of <<METAL AND STONE EXTERIOR WALL PROJECT TECHNIQUE RULES>> (JGJ133-2001) , according to the characters of stone hooking, the rules of <<EPOXY ADHESIVE USED FOR WALL HOOKING STONE>> (JC887—2001)  , it specify 6  forced indexes. It specify the quality index very clear, it require the wall stone hooking must use AB gle suitable for wall stone hooking structure adhesive. The adhesive quality affect the installation quality directly.  It is not allowed to use common stone glue (cloud stone glue) to replace the structure glue, for it will cause great safety problem.

      The stone hooking structure adhesive is specialized glue used for the sticking between stone and metal. Its component is Epoxy resin, divided in A B group, and combine to use. Very easy to use, could prevent erode, anti high temperature, anti aging, high intensity, good fixing. Under the temperature difference, vibration, its displacement caused by flex and sedimentation is small. Not easy to be seep, no  pollute to stone, while the common stone glue (cloud stone glue), the main component is unsaturated resin, it mainly used for the sticking between stone with stone, affected greatly by weather. The sticking force is several times lower than the stone hooking glue. Affected by dampness, can not anti high temperature, lifelong is shorter, no safety. It is not allowed to be used for wall stone hooking.

      Use the cloud stone glue for stone hooking instead of stone hooking structure glue, there are two reasons: one is cheaper price, the other is the solidified time is faster, 30mininute could install the stone on wall, while for the structure glue, it require about 4-10 days to reach its best state. In order to solve the shortage, the problem is in study. If use the common glue, the result will be a time bomb which cause serious safety problem.

      2,Installation method not proper

      The installation method directly affect the stone hooking project. Mainly factor are, AB mixing ratio, AB mixing equality, installation environment.

            (1) AB GLUE mixing ratio: most of people think it should be 1:1, actually this ratio is not scientific. The most reasonable ratio should be A:B=1.1:0.9, A is a little more than B. if B (solidify agent) is too much more, it will cause A could not solidify normally. Then the intensity of the glue will come down sharply after solidity. And the small molecule which is not reacted completely in B will pollute the stone during the aging procedure. So must ensure A is a little more than B.

            (2) AB mixing equality: must mix the AB glue uniformity， otherwise it will affect the stone hooking equality.

            Common mixing could use the shovel to mix repeatly, small quantity could use the thin steel to mix by hand. Big quantity could mix in mix machine which consist of electricity hammer and mixing teeth, mixing teeth could be cross shape or Φ shape made by reinforcing steel bar which is welded on the electricity hammer head. In order to make the AB adhesive more sticky, the mixing time should be longer, could not be less than 3-5 minute

            (3) Solidify time: usually the cloud stone glue could use proper solidify agent to increase or shorten the solidify time, but for stone hooking structure glue, it can not do in this way. On contrary, it will make it could not be solidified and even pollute the stone.

            (4) Installation environment: do not install the stone under damp, raining, do not let the stone or hook piece have dust or oil stain on the surface, this will make the sticking not good, also will pollute the stone.
