When construct stone, due to reasons of environment, installation etc, it will cause the effect  failure of the stone decoration, so must do some care job on the stone before  installation. Usually use the dry slab to install, but in our country, there  are many places, especially in the south the raining season is long, so the  installation in raining seasons cause a lot trouble.
        If order is big, most of the stone  manufacturer dry the slab in sunny day in order to use them in raining time,  but this way reduce the usage of the place and increase the manpower cost. As  the installation need dry stone, while most of material was put in the open  air, so raining day always cause the delay of project development. And there  are some stone looks somewhat wet always, but that is not caused by water, it  is because the salt and alkali contain water stay in the stone pore, reduce the  reflection of the stone surface, thus cause the feeling that the stone is not  dry. This need some chemical way to settle it.
        In recent years, with the development of  chemical technique, the capability of compound product with organic silicon is  in improvement. The issue of Stone protection in raining season got well  settled also. The principle of stone protection is that the active component in  protection material go chemical reaction with the ion state of water contained  in the stone pore inner surface, silicon atom chemical link with the stone surface, form a complicated net structure in the stone pore surface, as it is  the reaction between protection material and ion state of water in the stone,  so the protection measures have better effect on dry stone, if stone is wet, after  protection measures, the protection net formed is not so solid and strong like  that form in dry stone, and because in the pore the water content is high, the  protection material can not enter into the pore, so could not reach ideal  protection result. 
        Now in the market, there are stone  protection materials suitable for preventing moisture in raining season, they  could be adopted to be used during raining season, they could be used for all  kind of slabs which are wet by rain or by water, by applying the material, the  stone could be installed. 
        Now there are some special technique to avoid the  affection on the stone installation in raining season. There is a kind of  strong steep latex protection material, which is used with a set of device, it  has a long square shape steep trough, assembled with all kind of cutting  machines, it has a rack behind for airing also, the protection material drop  from the stone could come back to the steep trough. 
        The operation: put the wet slab or cutting  slab for about 2 minutes, when the stone surface has not flowing water, put  them into the steep trough for 2 minute, get them out and put them on the  airing rack for about 2 minutes, and they are ok. Its principle: during the  steep, the  the silicon atom and the  silicon oxygen alkyl are pressed into stone pore to react with the ion state of  water, thus to form a protection net which have the function of protection. With  this method, help to solve the installation problem during raining season, save  time save space occupation, improve the economic benefit. 
        When retread the wall which is wet, could  brush the strong steep latex protection material on the wall surface twice when  it is a little dry. (at least 2 times), while for some wet stone which contain  water spot, have to wash it and then bake , brush. Water spot contain deliquescence  salt and alkali, and they will absorb the water in the air, cuse the obvious  wet spot on the stone surface, and the wet spot is always wet whatever how the  weather change, so to process stone contain this kind of water spotj, could use  the acid detergent to wash it, and then bake the stone quickly, after that use  the rapid solidified  stone protection  material to protect it. As if it could not be solidified within 24 hours, the  salt and alkali will appear again. While rapid solidified stone protection  material could react fast, 15-40 minute could reach the protection purpose. Effectively  prevent the salt and alkali to appear again, thus to prevent the water spot for  long time. 
        The protection function on the wet stone is  not so good as that on dry stone.  The  protection net formed in the wet stone pore is not so solid and not so density  as the dry stone. But in raining season, it could save time and space, so it is  still widely used to apply on wet stone. 
        With  the development of the stone protection material technique, the properties for  the protection material will be stronger and stronger, function will be  improved day by day.
